Trent's new car

I really think Greg loves this walker as much as Trent does.

Catching up

So I have been a bit busy this year and even though I had grand plans to keep this blog updated it just has not happen. So here is a "quick" review of why. Working full time, Having a little one in the house and trying to find a place to live has kept us very busy. Finding a house has been number one and now we are only one week away from closing on our first home. Greg just finished his lifeguard course and now is an official lifeguard. Trent has started to say MAMA and is working on tooth number 4.
On top of this normal and exciting changes we also have had some illness in the family, both Greg's mother and Grandmother have either been the hospital and care facilities. We are happy to say both are now home and taking it day by day but we are excited that they are doing much better. Okay as I type out what has been going on it doesn't seem like much but it has been. After we close on the house I will be putting picture up. So you can seem my new little house with a big back yard.

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This holiday season has been great. My parents made it here before the snow (and back). The snow was beautiful Christmas morning and our family was together. I don't think Greg or I thought we would have to wait 5 Christmas mornings before we would have a little one to share it with. We received many things from friends, family and each other. But those are just things. I will love the memories of seeing smiles, hearing laughter and watching Trent eat wrapping paper.

I thought about recapping 2008, but I really do believe I would be typing, crying and laughing all day and I really don't have that long. So here are the highlights.

We started the year off Pregnant. (and hoping this baby would survive.)
By February we were going strong when I got the news that they were closing my center and then we suddenly lost Grandpa Willden. What a struggle but we made it through. The next big event was us moving into Grandma Willden's house. Then a short time later Trent came at 31 weeks instead of the standard 40 weeks. The next 2 months were a bit of a blur as we came and went from the hospital. Trent was going strong. We blessed him in September and by the end the month we lost Grandma Willden. Not long after we lost our beloved grandmother we began to worry about where we will go. That question is still in the air but we now have hopes and I have trust that the Lord will help us make the right choice.
I'm sure I missed some other highlights but those are the big ones.
Here are some random pictures from the holiday seasons.
